The Licking County ARES Nets are held on the first and third Wednesdays each month at 9:00 pm local time. All amateur radio operators are welcome and encouraged to check into this net, even if they are not yet a member of ARES.

The purpose of this net is:
- to provide training for local amateur radio operators in emergency
communication procedures, preparedness, and message traffic handling; - to provide all stations the opportunity to practice their skills;
- and to provide all stations the opportunity to test their equipment for
proper operation
